In 2011, the Showcase Artist Program at Healdsburg Center for the Arts will celebrate it’s seventh successful year. In 2010 we exhibited a series of five Artist Showcases.  Each 2011 showcase exhibit provides space for 10 artists to showcase their work.  Showcase exhibits run for a period of four weeks and include an opening reception for the artists and their guests, promotional postcards, email and website marketing, and are publicized to Sonoma County & Bay Area publications.

In the Showcase Artist Program, each artist has 8 linear feet of space to exhibit wall hung, self standing or pedestal mounted work.  Ribbon Awards are given for “Best of Show for a Body of Work” and “Best of Show for an individual work.”

Each showcase exhibit is juried. Artists submit to the jury, an application and 6 images of the style of work they intend to show . Showcase Artist spaces are available to all northern California artists working in wall-hung 2-D & 3D art, sculpture, mixed media and fine craft ( ie ceramics, glass, metal, wood, fiber etc.) All media considered.

There is a Showcase Application fee of $15 and once juried in,  the Showcase space fee is $150.

The artist receives 70% of selling price on all work sold during the show; 30% comission is retained by the art center.
