In my paintings I try to capture my passion for color and nature.
After much fussing and labor, common objects begin to form the dynamic of a certain cohesion.
Jeremy Joan Hewes
My work centers around color and place, with a strong graphic component as well.
My passion for photography began over thirty years ago when I processed my first photograph in the darkroom.
Candy's love of all things equine is reflected in her unique watercolor paintings.
Lindy's etchings are unusual, vibrant and other worldly.
Creativity is my source of spirituality, a kind of meditation, a way to shut the hasty world outside the studio door and enter into a state of utter absorption.
I love California. My artwork reflects my pleasure in its terrain and moods, dwelling on the hills and vineyards of Sonoma County and the coastal areas where the land rolls west to meet the Pacific Ocean.
I was born and raised in Norway and have been designing jewelry in silver and gold for the last 40 years. My jewelry is made using the “lost wax method”.
Inspirations for my paintings come to me as color observed, as sunlight on a leaf or a luminous gray stone or the subtle colors in evening shadows.
I have been involved in various forms of art all my life. For me, my images are an expression of what I personally enjoy.
Most of my paintings are about 'pattern'. I love design, color, and texture. I try to incorporate these items in my paintings, along with my love of traveling and foreign cultures.
